About PAT STAUB

Pat Staub is an award-winning studio and location photographer whose skills are sought out by major corporations and leading national Advertising Agencies, and who has distinguished himself by his creative eye and passion behind the lens.


Showcased in Communications Arts magazine three times, Pat Staub has received Gold and Silver Pencil awards, was featured in Photo District News and was once ranked fifty-sixth world-wide in number of times published by Lurzer’s Archive.


Pat has photographed the likes of Jeff Gordon and Mario Andretti, area corporate leaders, fashion models, and even many of the homeless in an award-winning campaign for a local shelter. He has earned a reputation as a leading photographer of automobiles, architecture, interiors, real estate, jewelry and catalog products, presenting even the ordinary in extraordinary ways.


His distinguished clients include: DuPont, DuPont Motorsports, McDonalds, Pepsi, Frito Lay, The NC Museum of Natural History, NC Depatment of Tourism, Bank of America, The One Show, Foot Joy, Compas Group, Muzak, Carowinds, Palais Royal, Wriggley’s Gum, Charlotte Pipe and Nucor.


Pat Staub was born on an English RAF base in Stifkey, England, and has subsequently travelled the world. After finishing his post studies at Randolph Technical Institute he went to work for a fashion/product photographer in Charlotte and in 1984 opened his own studio here.


He works with his wife, Bea Staub, an accomplished stylist. He and Bea are the parents of two children, Danielle and Dylan.
